Boost Tutoring runs a tutoring centre in Beaumont Hills, in Sydney’s Hills District. For a local centre, showing up when nearby families search matters as much as ranking for the business name.
What we did: we added 30 localised suburb pages to the website, so each part of the Hills District has a page that answers its search. We track rankings and Google Maps visibility from the centre every month and report on both.
Google Maps results change with where you search from. A ranking grid runs one search from many points around the business and records where it appears at each one.
Each circle is a point where we searched “tutor near me”. The number is Boost’s position in the map results there. Green is the top three.
The green core runs from Beaumont Hills through Kellyville and Kellyville Ridge. The western edge, towards Rouse Hill and The Ponds, is where there’s room to grow.
The average position was 2.9 in July and 2.9 in September. This map shows coverage held across the area, not a before-and-after.
Parents also search by subject or for a centre. On all three, Boost’s average map position improved between July and September. Lower is better.
Rankings are where the website appears in Google search for a tracked phrase on a given date.
Map positions are where the business appears in Google Maps, which changes with where the search is made.
Profile views count how often the Google Business Profile was seen.
None of these are enquiries, enrolments or revenue, and we don’t present them as such. They measure how easily local families can find Boost.
